Okay, so, I’ve been trying out this new cat food for my little furball, Mittens. It’s called “Best Friends Forever,” which, you know, is a bit cheesy, but I figured I’d give it a shot. I saw it online and thought, why not? It said “Free 2-day Shipping,” and who doesn’t love fast shipping, right?
Getting Started
First off, I went ahead and ordered a few cans. I started with a small variety pack, just to see if Mittens would even touch the stuff. You know how cats can be, super picky. I found it had the usual options – chicken, fish, the works. Nothing too out of the ordinary.
The Taste Test
When the package arrived, I popped open a can of the tuna flavor. Mittens came running as soon as she heard the can open – she knows that sound, haha. I scooped some into her bowl, and she went straight for it. She ate it all up, which is a good sign. Usually, she just sniffs new food and walks away, the little diva.
I kept an eye on her for the next few days. No upset stomach, no weird behavior, nothing. So far, so good. She seemed to really enjoy it, always cleaning her bowl. That’s a win in my book.
Digging Deeper
After a week or so, I did a bit more research. Turns out, this “Best Friends Forever” food is made by a company called Weruva. They’re based in Massachusetts, and they focus on meat-based, high-moisture foods. Apparently, it’s a bit cheaper than their main line, and they don’t have as many flavors, but it still seemed pretty decent.
I also checked out some reviews online. Most people seemed to like it, saying their cats enjoyed the food and it was good quality. There were a few complaints here and there, but you’ll always find those, right?
Mixing It Up
Since Mittens was doing well on the tuna, I decided to try the other flavors in the variety pack. She liked the chicken and the salmon just as much. I like that it’s got a lot of moisture, which is good for her. She’s not the best at drinking water, so this helps keep her hydrated.
The Verdict
Overall, I’d say this “Best Friends Forever” cat food is a pretty good find. Mittens loves it, it seems to be good quality, and it didn’t break the bank. Plus, the fast shipping was a nice bonus. I might try some of their other foods later on. I saw they had some grain-free options, which I might look into. I read that they also offer options for dogs, but right now I only have a cat.
If you’re looking for a new cat food to try, I’d say give this one a shot. It worked out well for me and Mittens, and maybe it’ll work for your furry friend too. Just remember to introduce it slowly, like any new food. You don’t want to upset their little tummies.
