Rachael Ray Wet Cat Food Ingredients: Whats Really Inside the Can? A Simple Breakdown.

Hey everyone, today I want to share my experience with Rachael Ray wet cat food. I’ve been trying different kinds of wet food for my cat, Mittens, and this one has been on my list for a while now.

Rachael Ray Wet Cat Food Ingredients: Whats Really Inside the Can? A Simple Breakdown.

So, I picked up a few cans from the local pet store. I noticed they had a variety of flavors, but I decided to go with the Tuna Purrfection flavor first, since Mittens is a big fan of tuna. The packaging looked pretty decent, and I appreciated that it mentioned using real flaked tuna.

When I got home, I opened a can and scooped some into Mittens’ bowl. The food had a strong fishy smell, which is expected with tuna. It looked like real tuna flakes, not some mystery mush, which was a good sign. The texture seemed okay, with chunks of various sizes and shapes. I also saw some vegetables oil and carrots in there, along with the usual vitamins and minerals.

  • Gave Mittens about 3 1/4 oz cups, she is an adult cat and her body weight is about 8 lbs, following the feeding instructions on the can.
  • Mittens seemed to really enjoy it. She licked the bowl clean pretty quickly, which is always a good sign.
  • Observed her for a few days. No digestive issues or anything unusual. Her energy levels seemed normal.

After a week of feeding her the Rachael Ray wet cat food, I can say that Mittens seems to be doing well on it. She enjoys the taste, and I haven’t noticed any negative effects. It’s a bit pricier than some other brands, but the ingredients seem to be of higher quality. Some people said that there is potential elevated levels of vitamin D, but I didn’t feel this from my cat.

My Overall Thoughts

Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with Rachael Ray wet cat food. It’s a bit more expensive, but I feel like I’m giving my cat something good. I might try other flavors in the future, but for now, the Tuna Purrfection seems to be a hit with Mittens.

I will keep feeding Mittens this food for a while and see how it goes. If anything changes, I’ll be sure to update you all. But for now, two paws up for Rachael Ray wet cat food!
